Pricing and booking
How much will my alteration cost?
Every garment and every job is different, so there’s no price list. Your alteration is priced at your fitting, once Corina has seen the garment on you and talked through what you’d like done.
How long will it take?
It depends on the work and how busy the season is. Corina will give you a ready date at your fitting.
When should I book my wedding dress alterations?
Aim for your first fitting about 8–10 weeks before the wedding. Read the full timeline.
Can you do rush jobs?
Sometimes. Get in touch as early as you can and Corina will let you know if she can fit it in.
How can I pay?
You can pay by card or cash. Card payments may carry a surcharge equal to the card processing cost. Cash has no surcharge. Payment is due before you collect your garment.
Your gown
Do you alter dresses bought online?
Yes. Book your first fitting as soon as the gown arrives. Online gowns are cut to a size chart, so they often need more work than a boutique gown: hems, taking in, and sometimes straps or sleeves. What to check when your dress arrives.
Can you restyle my mother’s dress?
Often, yes. Bring it to a fitting and Corina will tell you honestly what the fabric and seams allow. An heirloom gown can take a new neckline, different sleeves or a closer fit, and still keep what makes it precious.
Can you fix an alteration done somewhere else?
In many cases. Bring the garment to a fitting and Corina will look at what’s been done and what can be put right.
Do you make veils?
Yes. Veils can be made to order, considered alongside your gown.
What should I bring to my fitting?
Bring the garment, plus the shoes and underwear you’ll wear with it. They change how it sits and where a hem should fall.

Do you take walk-ins?
No. Corina works by appointment only, at her Rolleston home studio or on a home visit. Book a fitting online, or call or text 021 466 626.
Do you do home visits?
Yes, by appointment. Home visits suit bridal parties and anyone who can’t easily get to Rolleston.

Corina’s home studio is in Rolleston, Selwyn (Canterbury). Your booking confirmation includes the address.
Is there parking?
